Fun with Luke

I just have to say that I think 6 months is the best age yet! Luke is quite the talker now! He can say consonant sounds and right now, da da da da is his favorite! He says it a lot when he's happy. Too bad he doesn't really know what he's saying yet! The ma ma ma ma only comes out when he's crying. Now why can't that be reversed?? His favorite thing to do is to chew on his bib. Not only is it a spit-up catcher, but a toy all in one! Who would've known?! He also likes to try and grab tiny objects such as any small design on clothes etc. I just had to share these super cute pictures. One is from earlier today when Luke fell asleep on the floor playing.

Chewing on his bib! I thought this was hilarious!

Conked out!

Chuck E Cheese

Luke had his first experience with Chuck E Cheese on Saturday! I think he had a good time! Here are some cute pics we took from the experience:

Property of Mom FOREVER!

I can't believe our baby is 6 months old already!! I remember when he was sooo tiny and it seemed like it would be forever for him to get big and start doing stuff. Well that time is here! Now I'm afraid he'll never slow down! It's days like today though that I just want to push the pause button. We had soo much fun! He was in such a good mood this evening that I delayed his bed time just so we could play longer. He was playing on the floor, just talking(or should I say "squealing") up a storm and wriggling around. I had him laughing like crazy just by saying "booga booga booga"! I know he's going to give me a run for my money(literally!) when he is REALLY mobile because he just doesn't stop moving! It's like he has RLS, as my mom put it! His legs never stop kicking. Here's a picture from today and there's also an entry below that's old, but I just now got it to post. Enjoy!

We are working on his poor little cheeks and chin! The doc says he has Atopic Dermatitis(bad eczema), so we are meeting with a dermatologist next month. That's why he's so red!

The Park

Ok, so maybe Luke isn't REALLY old enough to enjoy the park or even remember going there, but we went anyways! Eric also liked reminding me that one day we will dread the constant nagging to go, but I think Luke enjoyed the swing and just watching all the other kids play. It was really nice to get out and enjoy the nice weather we had as well!

Brag

I just had to write a note about how well Luke has been doing lately! I think he is totally over the binky now and has been such a good boy! He only gets fussy when he's tired and he has been sleeping at night and during his naps so much better! We went shopping today and he was awake most of the time and just content as can be cooing and talking to us! Ever since about 4 1/2 months old, I think he has looked at the world differently. It's like he is really starting to take things in and is so curious! He doesn't really like to stay still. His favorite thing to do is jump! He likes to be on his feet. He'll sit for a little while, then kick his feet out wanting to stand. We finally got him an activity table today so he can stand and play. I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures to come of that! I know I'm a little biased, but he is just the cutest thing! What can I say, we love him so much! Here are a couple cute pictures of him trying squash for the first time:
