It's a Boy!

Corbin Wade Smith was born this afternoon at 1:21PM weighing 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long! We are so excited to welcome our new nephew into the world! Happy Birthday!

Weekend

This weekend wasn't too eventful. Eric had to work late night shifts all weekend, so he slept most of the mornings and went to bed early. That didn't leave us a whole lot of time do much. We did rent a couple movies; Grandma's Boy, which was hilarious, and Pride & Prejudice, which was an okay movie. Saturday I went to a birthday party with Dorelie for one of the girls she works with. We went to the Mont in Norman, then to another girl's house afterwards. It was a lot of fun. Eric and I ordered a new digital camera which should come in by the end of the week. I'm hoping we get it in time for the birth of my niece/nephew. If my sister doesn't have the baby by the 31st, she will be induced, so it will definitely be here by August! I can't wait to meet him/her!

Update

Well, Eric's back from his last deployment. He actually came back a couple days earlier than expected. I am very happy about that!

I've been pretty stressed lately because I've had to learn how to do just about everything in the lab since the girl I work with is leaving. She's been gone all last week on vacation, so I've been on my own and very busy! She isn't coming back for another couple weeks too. Plus, I've been trying to get everything ready for school. I am enrolled in 10 hours starting Aug. 21st. When I start school I will go to part-time here at work, so that will be nice, but I'm sure I'll still be super busy! Also, my sis is about to pop any time now and I have been trying to plan her baby shower. I will post an update as soon as she has it!!

This weekend, Eric and I went to lake Tenkiller with Tarah and Jeff. Jeff's family has a cabin out there and a couple boats. We water skied and just hung out. It was a lot of fun! We both got plenty of sun! I think my camera is broken from the heat or something from the trip, so it might be a while before I can post those pictures. Also, Eric and I bought a new glass storm door for the front door of our house. I love it because we can keep the other door open and still see outside. Here is a picture of it:

4th of July Weekend

Friday I hung out with Dorelie and a couple of her friends from work again. We sang karaoke and just chilled. Saturday, I went to John and Dana's house for a cook out and to hang out by the pool. Eric actually came home late late Saturday night and Sunday we ran a few errands. It was nice to see him even if it was only short lived. He had to leave again Sunday night. On Monday I went over to Dorelie's house and she cooked dinner for the both of us. She made her famous, yummy mushrooms. Her husband, who has also been deployed, surprised her and ate dinner with us. Tuesday, I went with John and Dana on their boat to go water skiing during the day and that night I mostly worked on my scrapbook, but did go out in the backyard to watch a fireworks for a few minutes.
