Thanksgiving

Well, I had a very nice Thanksgiving. I went with my parents, Kasey, Zack, Max, Aspen, Bailey, and Bandit to my grandparents' house in New Mexico. We drove in my parents' Motor Home there. It was really good to finally get the chance to visit my grandparents. Eric obviously couldn't come because of the deployment, but he did get to make a stop back in OK as part of the deployment, so I was able to see him when I got back on Friday. We were able to pick out a Christmas tree and decorate it. We also went to see Harry Potter Monday night. It was pretty good. They left some stuff out and changed it a little from the book, but I don't know how they would have been able to keep everything in it and still have it be 2 1/2 hours long. Here are a few pics:

Weekend

Well, this weekend wasn't too eventful. It seems like there is a lot less to do without Eric around. I did go to a Blazers hockey game yesterday though. I also went to Othello's last night to celebrate Tarah's birthday. It was pretty fun. Here are a couple pics:

For Thanksgiving, I will be going with my family to visit my grandma in New Mexico, so if I don't hear from some of you before then, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

1st Deployment

Well, Eric left Monday morning for his first deployment. It's been a little lonely, but luckily I've got great friends, family, and Aspen! On Saturday, we had a little get together for him with some friends from his work and Tarah, Jeff and one of their friends. Then on Sunday, we went to my parents to hang out with them and Kasey and Max. That's really about it right now!

Weekend

On Friday, we didn't really do a whole lot. We just babysat for Paul and Dorelie so that they could take a much needed date night at the movies. Then we just hung out with them for a while when they got back.

On Saturday, I went with Colleen to get a pedicure and then Eric and I went to look at the house that she and Matt just bought. Saturday night, Susan was in town again, so we had a BBQ at our house. It was with Susan and Matt, or as Eric now calls him, Ribs, Jennifer and Josh, and Paul and Dorelie. It was a lot of fun. We had hot dogs and hamburgers and then the boys all played poker and hearts while the girls just hung out and talked. Unfortunately, Dorelie had to leave early to put the baby to bed, but it was a good time.

Sunday, my parents, Zack, Kasey, and Max came over for pizza and a movie. The only movie that ended up happening was Monsters Inc. for Max. It was definitely fun though. Max is getting soooo big and is talking in sentences now! It's crazy how fast he is growing. I also helped my mom try to come up with a floor plan for their house that they are eventually going to build out on their land. It's a lot harder than you would think, but it was fun.

Now I am just counting down the days until Eric has to leave on his first deployment. It will be pretty soon, so hopefully we will get a chance to spend a lot of time together before the big day. Well, that's about it for now!
