Not a whole lot

Well, there's not really a whole lot to report. I didn't really write about my weekend last week, but it was pretty low key. I watched a couple rented movies with Dorelie since Eric and Paul were both gone and that's about it! This past weekend, Eric's dad and his dad's wife, Debbie, came into town on their way back to CO. We rented a movie and they went with us shopping for elliptical machines. That's really about it! Maybe things will pick up a bit in the next couple of weekends.

IKEA

This was the weekend of shopping! On Saturday, I went to Frisco, Tx with Tarah to do some shopping at the mall there and IKEA. It was a lot of fun! We met Tarah's mom, grandma, sisters, and aunt at the mall and did some shopping with them. Then we went to IKEA where we ran into some of our good friends from college, Andrew and Shane. We met them at a bar and grill after that and were going to eat with them, but it got too late and we had to drive back to OKC. It was really cool that we got to hang out with them for a little while though. Here is a picture from that night:
Also on Friday, I went shopping with Dorelie and Jennifer in Norman. We found some pretty good deals!

Eric has been deployed this past week, but has been deployed to Tinker, so he has been able to stay at home when he hasn't been flying. It has been VERY nice and I am happy for that. He did actually leave me yesterday though, but should be back in a few days. That's about all that's new here!

Weekend

Eric and I went up to Tulsa on Sunday to visit the Babybacks(Susan & Matt). Jennifer and Josh went up there on Saturday and stayed the night, so we got to see them when we got there. The boys watched some football and played monopoly while the girls talked and went shopping, two things that we do best! We also exchanged our Christmas gifts. It was a lot of fun! I will post some pics when I get home.


On Friday, we went out to eat with Paul and Dorelie and Saturday we went to Paul and Dorelie's to hang out and play some cranium and taboo with Matt and Colleen.

This weekend, I am hoping to go to Dallas to do some shopping with Tarah and whoever else wants to join in on the fun!!

Also, last week we gave Max his birthday presents. (A loud guitar which I'm sure my sis LOVES, and a little blow up chair) I have some cute pics that I took then that I will also try to post when I get home.

Christmas & New Years

We had a really great Christmas and New Years in Colorado. We stayed at Eric's brother, Adam's, house. We spent Christmas Eve at Eric's grandparent's house with his siblings and dad's side of the family. Christmas Day, we went to Eric's brother, Aaron's, house with his siblings and mom's side of the the family. I went shopping the day after with his mom and my sister-in-laws, while the boys stayed at home and played x-box. We went to a go-cart track a couple times where Eric was able to race his brothers, mom, Charity, and friend, Erik, and his wife, Kelly on 55mph go-carts. Eric was able to pull out a win every time, even though he did spin out a couple times. I know he had a lot of fun doing that! For New Years, we hung out at Adam's house and played some games. We were also able to visit my friend, Jennifer's parent's house up in Bailey. It was really good to see them all. I will try to post pictures as soon as I can.

While we were in CO, we found out that Eric wasn't going to be able to stay at home as long as we had hoped and he is getting deployed once again. I am pretty bummed about the whole thing since I haven't seen him but a total of 2 weeks in the last 2 months. I am hoping though that he will get a longer break after this next deployment, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
