7 months!!

Luke is 7 months old! I can't believe he is more than 1/2 a year old!! He's learned so many new tricks! He can, although he doesn't prefer to, roll over onto his tummy, hold his own bottle, splash in the water, and sit up completely unsupported now! He's also learned how to put one foot in front of the other when held upright. If he could just learn to balance, he could totally walk! Everyday is a new discovery and he is sooo curious! I'm actually not sure that I really want him walking since I know he will be into EVERYTHING!! Here are a few random pictures from this last month:

He loves himself! Can you blame him?!

Easter/Feedback

I just wanted to post some cute pictures from Easter. Also, I haven't been getting much feedback and just wanted to make sure people were still checking out the blog! You don't have to sign up to leave a comment. All you have to do is sign your name when you leave one, then post under "Anonymous". Thanks!

The Easter bunny came!!

It's not chocolate, but you better believe it's still going in the mouth!

Nice hat!

Now if he could only learn to balance without leaning on something and learn to put one foot in front of the other, we would be golden!

Happy Easter!

We finally got Luke's 6 month pictures done last night and are sooo excited about them! He did so good! He was a little out-of-it at first, but warmed up quickly and was his happy laughing self.
The sneak peak should be up soon(Luke's 6 month sneak peak) and we can't wait to see how the rest turned out!

Tonight Eric is going to have to brave it by watching 3 boys on his own! He will have our 2 nephews plus Luke while my sister and I go to the Gavin DeGraw concert. It should be interesting!

Here's a picture of Luke in a goofy hat that was handed down to him from his cousins. I thought it was a little Easter-ish!

Niece

We are proud to announce the arrival of our newest little niece, Josephine(Josie) Laing!! She made her debut at 6:38am on Saturday, April 4th weighing 8lbs 4oz and was 20 inches long!! We wish we could've been there, but look forward to seeing her here in a couple months. Here is a photo of our newest little niece:

Sorry Tom, but I'm thinking she looks just like her mommy!

We were actually down in Tyler, Tx for a wedding when she was born. While we were there, we got to visit my granddaddy who got to meet Luke for the first time! Here are some pictures from the wedding:

We had to take advantage of the photo op by the tree! =)

Ok, sorry for the super long post, but it's been a while! I have a couple other random pictures to post of Luke. One is of him with his new toy that he loves! It is a little music soundstage that has a mirror and various instruments. It's a great toy for him to practice his sitting skills with and the music it plays is actually really good as opposed to some of the annoying music most toys play! Another pic is of Luke today in the car holding his bottle all by himself!! This past weekend he would grab it from me and try to put it in his mouth, but didn't quite realize he had to keep holding it. Well, I think he's got the hang of it now! Watching him discover that he can do certain things is so incredible! I often catch myself staring at him and wondering if I really had a part in creating such an amazing little guy! Don't get me wrong, he definitely has his moments, but you just can't help falling in love with him! The last pic is of him in his bumbo naked! Well, he does have a diaper on (we're not crazy!), but he's realized how fun and free it is to be without clothes! Enjoy, and once again, sorry for the long post!
